Beach T 172 is located 200 m to the west in a small 100 m wide rocky embayment. The 80 m long south-facing sandy beach occupies the rear of the embayment. It is bordered by exposed rocky points, backed by densely vegetated wooded terrain that slopes gently into the bay. The bay has a sandy floor and usually low waves to calm conditions. Lemana Lookout is located on the walking track just west of the beach.
