Beaches MI 7 and 8 are two adjoining beaches located to the east of Point Lesueur. Beach MI 7 is located 1 km to the east and consists of a 350 m long south-southwest-facing reflective beach bordered by a cleared 20 m high headland and backed by 1 ha Guards Lagoon, an infilled wetland. The beach receives waves averaging less than 1 m, which maintain a steep reflective beach. It is backed by a 50-100 m wide, 10-15 m high vegetated foredune and former blowouts then the lagoon.
