Point des Galets is a sloping 40 m high dolerite point located 1.5 km to the south, with two small beaches (T 279 and 280) to either side. Beach T 279 is an east-facing 80 m long pocket of high tide cobbles fronted by a sandy low tide terrace located at the mouth of a small creek that descends the backing cleared slopes. Rocky shore extends to either side.
