Beach T 278 is a narrow low energy northeast-facing strip of high tide sand located 500 m southeast of the Earlham cottages. The beach is backed by cleared farmland that descends almost to the shoreline, with rocky shore to either side as well as rock outcrops scattered along and off the beach.
