Cowrie Beach (T 203) is located 600 m to the south in an open embayment between Piedmont and Webber points. The 350 m long gently curving beach faces east and receives waves averaging less than 1 m which maintain a cusped reflective high tide fronted by a narrow continuous bar. The beach trends east in the southern corner terminating in lee of a small rock outcrop. It is backed by a low grassy foredune, and then cleared farmland, with no formal public access.
