Garretts Bight is located 500 m south of Lomas Point and immediately west of Scott Point. The bight is a 150 m wide south-facing rocky embayment bordered and backed by densely wooded slopes rising to 50 m. Beach T 522 curves for 150 m along the northern shore of the bay and consists of a steep boulder beach with some sandy seafloor off its eastern half. Waves averaging about 1 m break over the sand and surge up the steep beach. There is a vehicle track to Scott Point with a steep climb down to the beach.
