Beach T 521 extends south of the rocks for 200 m to the low rocky Slacks Point, which forms the northern entrance to the Esperance Narrows, a 500 m wide arm of the bay. The beach faces northeast across the bay and is fronted by the continuous 100 m wide sand flats, with the deeper narrow channel to the south. A vehicle track runs along the rear of the narrow beach.
