Southport beach (T 531) is located at the northern extremity of the bay. It is a curving 400 m long south-facing reflective beach, which receives only very low swell waves. The 100 m long Southport jetty crosses the eastern end at the junction of the Huon Highway and Lady Bay Road with Kingfish Road continuing along the rear of the remainder of the beach. Settlement Creek crosses the beach just west of the jetty, with a small park and toilets next to the creek. A few houses back the jetty with cleared farmland behind the remainder of the beach. Several boats are usually moored off the jetty.
