Beach BI 84 is a curving west-facing 300 m long beach bordered by 10 m high Black Rock Point to the south and Stockyard Point to the north, both of which protrude about 100 m west of the beach. Densely vegetated 10 m high slopes surround the beach rising to cleared farmland, with a road running round the top of the slopes and some houses on the southern point. The beach consists of a narrow high tide beach facing west across 50 m wide sand and some rock flats.
