Bull Bay is an east-facing rocky bay located 2 km south of Kellys Point, the northern tip of the island. The bay curves to the southeast then east in lee of Bull Bay Point. Steep cleared slopes and farmland back the bay rising to 210 m at Dennes Hill, while three boulder beaches (BI 1-3) occupy its southern shore. Beach BI 1 is a 50 m long boulder beach at the base of 30 m high vegetated bluffs. A large rock outcrop separates it from beach BI 2, a similar 50 m long steep boulder beach. Beach BI 3 occupies the southern half of the bay curving round in the south to the lee of the point. It is a continuous boulder beach backed by sloping cleared farmland, with three small creeks converging on the centre. The beaches are sheltered by the point with waves averaging less than 1 m and decreasing to the southern corner.
