Peggys Beach (T 476) is a 250 m long beach that faces east towards the entrance of the bay, the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island. The beach is bordered by low rocky points and consists of a narrow high tide beach fronted by 150 m wide sand flats that fill the small embayment between the points. A small lagoon backs the beach with a few houses on its northern side, while a factory is located on the southern headland and a sewage treatment plant on the northern head.
