Beach T 495 is located in the next slight embayment 700 m to the south and on the northern side of the slight Dripstone Point. The 150 m long beach is located at the base of a small creek and consists of a narrow strip of high tide cobbles fronted by 50 m wide linear rock flats, then ridged sand flats extending another 300 m into the channel. It is backed by trees, cleared sloping farmland and some houses, with the highway 150 m inland.
