Little Fancy Bay is located between Chuckle Head and the northern Fancy Point. The bay is 700 m wide between the heads narrowing into the 600 m deep bay to a 400 m long west-northwest-facing low energy beach (BI 76). Two hundred metre wide ridged sand flats front the beach and partly fill the bay (Fig. 4.111). It is backed by a 50 m wide beach ridge area and a central 3 ha wetland fed by three small creeks. A vehicle track reaches the centre of the beach, with rising densely vegetated ground surrounding the bay.
