Beach BI 74 is located at the western end of Porpoise Head and extends for 250 m between 10-15 m high diverging sandstone points. The beach faces due west and is fronted by 400 m wide sand flats covered by 15 subdued sand ridges. Two vehicle tracks reach the rear of the beach where two small fishing shacks are located.
