Beach BI 89 is a 150 m long strip of high tide sand bordered by boulders and rocky sandstone shore and backed by the cleared 20 m high point. Sand flats extend about 50 m off the beach. The sand flats continue along past the rocks for 200 m to beach BI 90, a similar 100 m long high tide beach bordered by the rocks and fronted by the sand flats which widen to about 100 m. Beach BI 91 lies another 300 m to the east and consists of a small curving 80 m long beach at the base of a small gully. Rocks line either side and the flats extend about 50 m offshore. All three beaches are backed by a fringe of trees then cleared steeply rising slopes.
