Cemetery Beach (BI 67) is located 200 m north of Point Winifred. It is a slightly curving 300 m long west-facing beach exposed to a greater fetch across the 12 km wide channel. The higher wind waves maintain a high tide reflective beach fronted by 50 m wide sand flats. It is bordered by low rocky shoreline and backed by a narrow tree-filled reserve, gravel road and two rows of houses behind the southern end of the beach. A sand mine is located at the northern end of the beach, with rocky shore continuing for another 300 m past Vaughans Landing to Little Reef, a low rocky point and reef.
