Little Taylors Bay is a 1.5 km wide semi-circular bay located at the base of the larger bay bordered by Ventenat and Winifred points. The little bay is bounded by Swifts and Grundys points and extends 2 km to the south. Beach BI 65 is located along the southern base of the bay and faces north across 600 m wide ridged sand flats. The low narrow high tide beach extends for 1 km along the southern shore backed by Sharps Road and cleared low farmland, with Fitchetts Creek draining towards the centre. The road links with Lighthouse Road at the eastern end of the beach. Lighthouse Road runs north for 2 km to the lee of Grundys Point before turning into Daniels Bay and the junction with the Main Road at the settlement of Lunawanna. Point Winifred forms the northern boundary of the bay. This is a 1 km wide V-shaped west-facing bay containing a very low energy beach (BI 66) at its eastern end. The beach trends north for 600 m as a low narrow strip of high tide sand, facing west across 600 m wide plain inner flats and outer ridged sand flats (Fig. 4.108).
