West-facing rocky shore dominates the next 3 km of shore to 15 m high Ventenat Point. Beach BI 55 is located in a 500 m wide north-facing embayment immediately west of the point. It is a 250 m long north-facing beach consisting of a high tide reflective beach fringed by low tide rocks. A vehicle track runs up the ridge of the backing 3 km long peninsula to reach the point and beach.
