Kingfisher Beach (BI 46) occupies the southernmost shore of the bay and is the lowest energy beach in the system. It commences in lee of Wares Point and curves to the northeast for 1.4 m to a section of rocky shore. This is a very low energy, narrow strip of high tide sand fronted by 300 m wide sand flats that fill the southwestern corner of the bay, narrowing to 100 m in the east where the beach has prograded slightly into the bay. It is backed by gently sloping terrain with Hawkins Creek and a second small creek draining to the beach. A 4WD track reaches the western end of the beach in lee of Wares Point.
