Beach BI 47 commences on the eastern side of the 400 m long boundary rocks and curves to the north for 400 m to the beginning of the rocks of Oak Point. The low energy beach faces west across the 1.5 km wide southern section of the bay. It consists of a very low energy 400 m long narrow high tide beach backed and bordered by densely vegetated slopes rising gradually to 100 m. A 4WD track runs down the slopes to reach the western end of the beach.
