Dixons Beach (T 460) lies on the northern side of the high school. It is a curving 200 m long east- to northeast-facing strip of high tide sand and rocks, with clusters of rocks crossing and scattered just off the beach. Tall trees back the northern end of the beach with a central boat shed, then the school playing fields on the low southern rocky point.
