Bluff Beach (T 287) commences 50 m to the southwest on the southern side of Blowhole Point and is bordered to the south by a 200 m wide 20 m high tree-covered point. It is a slightly curving 800 m long low gradient exposed beach, with waves averaging over 1 m. These maintain a 50-100 m wide surf zone, with usually a rip against Blowhole Point and one to two central beach rips. Steep tree-covered slopes descend to the rear of the sand, with three small creeks reaching the beach (Fig. 4.51). A vehicle track terminates at the centre of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.8km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
