The northern shore of Norfolk Bay commences at Stroud Point and trends west for 10 km to Renard Point. In between are a series of south-trending headlands forming several small embayments, some of which are occupied by low energy beaches. Breaknock Bay lies 1 km west of Stroud Point and contains two small beaches (T 380 and 381). Beach T 380 is a narrow 100 m long strip of high tide sand fronted by 100 m wide sand flats. Beach T 381 lies 100 m to the west, with a low bluff in between. It is a similar 100 m long strip of sand and fronted by the same continuous sand flats. They are backed by low grassy bluffs, cleared farmland with the Fulham Road 200 m to the north. Oyster racks are located on the sand flats.
