It is located deep inside the northern side of the bay, faces south and is sheltered by Osprey Head and the Clydes Island and reef, with waves usually less than 1 m at the shore. The 100 m long beach is used by locals to store and launch small boats across the narrow reflective beach. It can be reached on foot from the Tessellated Pavement.
