Safety Cove beach (T 321) is a curving east- to northeast-facing sandy beach sheltered by Briggs Point, with waves averaging 1 m at the northern end next to Rileys Reef and decreasing into the southern corner. It is dominated by a moderately steep, cusped reflective beach, with bigger waves producing a heavy shorebreak. A low foredune and the road run along the rear of the beach with a car park and toilets at the northern end.
