Black Jack Bight is a 250 m wide southeast-facing rocky bay located 1.5 km south of North West Head. The isolated bay is backed by slopes rising steeply to 200 m high Black Jack Hill and Mount Wilmot, with a steep V-shaped valley descending to the rear of the bay. Beach T 336 is a narrow curving 300 m long sand and cobble beach located along the eastern base of the bay, with steep slopes rising behind. The cobbles form a steep high tide beach, fronted by a sandy low tide terrace. Waves average above 1 m increasing slightly in height up the beach. The beach is only accessible by boat. Black Jack Point is a low cleared headland, to either side of which is a rocky shoreline dominated by low energy cobble beaches. The cobbles have been supplied by erosion of the Triassic sandstone that forms the shoreline of the point.
