Beaches T 355 and 356 are located 800 m to the south at the boundary between the reserve and the 217 ha Coal Mines Historic Site. Beach T 355 is a 70 m long strip of sand with a rock outcrop causing a slight foreland towards the southern end. It is fronted by a 100 m wide mixture of sand and rock flats, and backed by rising tree-covered slopes.
