Beach T 359 occupies the 700 m long base of the bay and faces northeast across the widest section of sand flats. It consists of a steep, narrow shell-rich high tide beach fronted by the sand flats, with salt marsh growing behind the low beach crest (Fig. 4.62). Garnetts Creek drains out across the centre of the beach and continues across the inner sand flats. The Saltwater Road runs along the rear of the beach, which is used for launching small boats.
