Beach T 821 is an irregular, discontinuous collection of sand patches set amongst shore-perpendicular rocks, ridges and reefs, fronted by continuous rocky seafloor and backed by an irregular hummock 10-20 m high foredune with slopes rising inland to 50 m. Waves are lowered by a continuous outer bar and rocks and reefs to less than 1 m at the shore. Two small creeks drain to the beach and a vehicle track from the head runs along the rear of the beach.
