McKenzies Beach commences 100 m southeast of Doctors Rocks and trends to the southeast as a double crenulate system containing two beach sections (T 1074 and 1075). Beach T 1074 occupies the first 600 m extending southeast to a protruding cobble foreland formed in lee of shoaler inner rock flats, the intertidal flats averaging 250 m in width. Beach T 1075 continues southeast of the foreland for another 1.3 km to a section of seawall built to protect the railway line. The entire beach has a storm/high tide cobble crest, with a moderately steep mid tide sand beach grading into the irregular rock flats and reefs. The only parking is located on the southern side of Doctors Rocks.
Beach Length: 1.3km
