Beach T 1049 is located at the end of the road with a small gravel car park behind the centre of the beach. The rock-dominated beach faces east and is fully exposed to easterly waves. It consists of a series of four small pockets of sand totalling 100 m in length, each separated by low east-trending rock ridges, that link at low tide into continuous 50 m wide intertidal rock flats. A low rocky point extends 100 m seaward on the northern side of the beach, with the steep slopes rising to 50 m high Breakneck Point to the south and 250 m high Two Sisters hill behind. Because of the rocks and its exposed nature the beach is usually unsuitable for swimming.
Beach Length: 0.1km
General Hazard Rating: 7/10
