Wet Cave Point protrudes 500 m to the northeast and separates Anniversary Bay from the Sisters beaches. The point rises inland to 130 m and is located within the national park. Most of its shoreline is steep and rocky apart from two small pockets of cobbles (T 1040 and 1041). Beach T 1040 is a 50 m long high tide cobble beach located at the mouth of a steep densely vegetated narrow valley that contains Lee-Archer Cave. The beach is bounded by the rocky shore, with a shore-parallel reef 100 m offshore lowering waves at the beach to less than 0.5 m, however during high waves a strong current flows between the reef and shore. A walking track leads to the cave and beach. Beach T 1041 is located in the next small embayment, 200 m west of the tip of the point. This is a hazardous 80 m long high tide cobble beach fronted by irregular intertidal rock flats. It is exposed to north through easterly waves backed by steep slopes. The walking track runs along the slope above the beach with a spur down to the shore.
Beach Length: 0.08km
General Hazard Rating: 7/10
