Fairlands Beach (T 1079) commences at the sandy foreland formed in lee of the shallow rock reef that marks a change to a more sandy beach system to the east. The beach is a low gradient high to mid tide beach extending 50-100 m seaward where it inter-fingers with low tide rock flats, particularly off the boundary forelands. It is backed by a 30 m wide reserve then the railway and highway.
Beach Length: 1km
