McGuinness Gut is located 1 km to the north and consists of a 60 m long pocket of sand (beach T 804) located at the end of a 200 m long 50 m wide gutter between intertidal rock platforms, with reefs continuing another 300 m offshore. The protected location results in low wave to calm conditions at the shore, where the small beach is used to launch boats. The vehicle track runs past the rear of the beach, with a fishing shack 100 m to the northeast.
