The beach is bordered and crossed by rocks, with a mixture of rock and sand off the beach and a series of reefs extending 500 m offshore. Behind the boulder ridge is a strip of grass then heath-covered slopes rising to 70 m. A walking track emerges from the heath to reach the southern end of the beach and continue south to beach T 767.
