Beach T 762 commences on the northern side of the rocks and trends to the north for 650 m to the next rocky point and reefs, with a small creek draining across the northern end of the beach. The beach is exposed to the full force of the waves and has a 300 m wide double barred surf zone, with usually two to three inner rips and two outer rips, including one against the northern rocks. It is bordered by rock reefs extending up to 1 km seaward and backed by an active dune system that has migrated 700 m to the east and more than 1 km to the southeast to the Nielsen River. The largely bare active dunes rise to 30 m.
