Beach T 729 commences at the narrow, sometimes blocked Spero River mouth, against the southern rocks of the bay. It curves to the north for 450 m to a cluster of rocks (Fig. 4.144). Waves refract round into the small bay, averaging about 1 m at the river mouth and increase up to 1.5 m at the northern end of the beach. These maintain a 50 m wide low tide terrace in the south, widening slightly to the north, with usually one central beach rip and one against the northern rocks. It is backed by a 200 m wide densely vegetated foredune, then the river.
Beach Length: 0.45km
