Tiddys Beach (T 787) occupies the eastern shore of Edwards Bay and is bordered by 10 m high Split Rock to the north and a dune-capped rocky point to the south. It is a curving 700 m long beach that faces west towards the bay entrance and receives waves averaging 1-1.5 m. These maintain a 50 m wide bar usually cut by three central beach rips. The outer seafloor has rock reefs, with higher waves breaking over the reefs. The beach is backed by a scarped 10-20 m high foredune, then older vegetated dunes and lakes extending 500 m inland to Teal Pond, a small dune-dammed lake. The vehicle track runs around the rear of the dunes.
