The central section of Ocean Beach (T 793) commences at the shifting Henty River mouth (Fig. 4.158) and continues for roughly 7.8 km to the equally shifting mouth of the Little Henty River. Wave height, surf zone width and bar, rip and beach conditions remain the same along this section. Most of the beach is backed by the northern Henty Dunes, a 500 ha predominantly active dune sheet, which extends up to 1.5 km inland. There is no formal access to this beach.
