The Punchbowl is a steep amphitheatre carved into the 70 m high bluffs. On the eastern side of the Punchbowl is a small, 50 m long beach, almost surrounded by the high bluffs, reefs and rocks. This beach is very difficult to access and hazardous to bathe in, owing to the rocks and permanent rip draining the small beach. It is unsuitable for swimming.
