Storm Bay is a small, 100 m long platform beach located 500 m due west of the Pyramid Rock car park. The beach is surrounded by 20 to 30 m high grassy bluffs, with a boulder beach underlying and backing the narrow sand beach. Basalt boulder flats front the beach. It is only awash at high tide, with surf running over the boulders and reefs at low tide.
