Forrest Caves and Bluffs are a section of eroding, red, basalt bluffs. The caves are eroded into the basalt rock platform and are most exposed at low tide. Three beaches occupy this south-west facing, 1.3 km section of coast; all three accessible via the Forrest Bluffs Road. They receive waves averaging 1.6 m that produce a 200 m wide surf zone, containing strong rips, particularly against the reefs, rocks and bluffs.
Beach Length: 0.2km
