Bridgewater Bay, Fowlers Beach and Montforts Beach lie in the Mornington Peninsula National Park, either side of Koreen Point. St Johns Wood Road runs 2 km straight from Blairgowrie to a car park behind the point. All three beaches are backed by 10 to 20 m high calcarenite bluffs, capped by sand dunes, with some of the dunes reaching down to the beach at Fowlers and Montforts. The beaches are narrow and only active at high tide, being fronted by over 100 m of rocks and reef flats that dominate the surf zone. Waves average 1.5 m on the reefs, but are lower at the beaches.
Beach Length: 0.2km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
