Tea Tree Creek and Cairns Bay are located 2 km west of the Blowhole lookout and 1 km south of the main Flinders Road. They are two cobble and boulder beaches, set in amongst the rugged, 60 to 80 m high, black basalt cliffs that run from Cape Schanck to Point Flinders. Access is via a 1 km walk from the road to the top of the cliffs, with a steep climb down to the beaches. Both are exposed to high waves, which break over the reefs and have built the narrow beaches in two small gaps in the cliffs, located either side of the end of the track.
