Beach K 82 commences on the northern side of the rock flats and extends for 1.2 km due north to the low rocks that continue northeast for 800 m to Cape Borda. The beach is fronted by over 1 km wide tidal sand flats. It is backed by 500 m wide unstable overwash and active dunes in the south grading into vegetated dunes and wooded low coastal plain in the north.
