Beach K 81 commences on the northern side of the 1 km wide second creek mouth. The 2.6 km long beach consists of a low 100 m wide overwashed recurved sand spit, that is tied to rock flats at its northern end. It faces southwest across Kelk Creek tidal channel, then several kilometres of tidal sand flats.
