A 250 m wide, 27 m high bluffed headland separates beach K 70 from K 71. This is a crenulate 700 m long sand beach bound in the west and east by craggy bluffs, fronted by intertidal rock flats, as well as rock reefs and small rock outcrops and vegetated islets, which extend from the shoreline up to 500 m seaward. The largest islet is called Chimney Rocks. The beach has a low gradient intertidal zone, interrupted by some rocks, and is backed by active dunes extending up to 200 m inland. A 4WD track reaches the centre of the beach.
