Beach K 79 extends from the eastern side of Bell Point for 8 km to the mouth of Kelk Creek. The beach initially faces east and is backed by sand-draped red bluffs. These give way to a 200-600 m wide, 20 m high sand barrier, backed by Weedong Lagoon, and finally a 4 km long northwest-facing sand spit that has prograded across the mouth of Kelk Creek. It is capped by low active dunes up to 500 m wide and fronted by tidal sand flats and ridges that extend up to 3 km into Pender Bay.
Beach Length: 8km
