The vehicle track degenerates to a 4WD track at the creek crossing, with care required if driving north of the creek. Beach K 36 extends north from the creek for 2.7 km to the northern side of a usually blocked 1 km wide double creek mouth. When flowing the two creeks often converge forming one continuous tidal delta. The intervening sandy beach is up to 400 m wide at low tide.
