Five Finger Reef is formed by a series of truncated beachrock ridges, that one formed the northern side of the foreland. Erosion and reorientation of the shoreline has exposed the reef, which extend up to 100 m off the beach. They tend to break the 300 m long beach (WA 1509) into a series of small sandy compartments, each bordered by one of the fingers of beachrock. The beach is largely backed by an area of dune activity, extending 500 m to the north, then older vegetated parabolics, criss-crossed by 4 WD tracks.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
